SWE-BWS sends out a bi-weekly newsletter with all of our upcoming events and volunteering opportunities. You can subscribe to our newsletter here. We are so excited to hear you are interested in getting more involved with SWE-BWS! There are many ways you can support us, some of which are listed below. If interested, please submit your information to the form above and note your specific support interests.
Collegiate Section Liaison
SWE-BWS supports 10 local colleges with STEM programs. College Section Liaisons are responsible for being the main contact with at least 1 section. They will serve as a mentor of the section and help to plan one joint event each fiscal year.
Networking Event Support
We have heard lots of interest from our members that they would love SWE-BWS to host more networking opportunities. Are you interested in organizing a wine night, cooking class, or escape room? Have a new event idea you think your fellow members would enjoy? We’d love to hear from you!
Science Fair Volunteers
In 2023, SWE-BWS supported 10 science fairs between February to March, which totaled over 400 projects judged. We would love your help to judge all these wonderful projects and award even more aspiring female engineers! Please notify us of your interest in volunteering by filling out the form above or emailing vicepresident@swe-bws.org.
Attend our Executive Council meetings
Our section has monthly executive board meetings. Anyone who would like to attend is welcome. Please RSVP here.

Is your company or organization interested in hosting a virtual professional development event (e.g. speaker seminar or panel discussion) with SWE-BWS? We welcome these opportunities! Please reach out to us at: vicepresident_pd@swe-bws.org
We are looking for troops that would like a SWE woman engineer to talk to their troop virtually or in-person. This volunteer opportunity may include virtual STEM activities. In addition, we are looking for a volunteer to help coordinate SWE volunteers with troop events. If you are interested in either, please email vicepresident@swe-bws.org
